Access Business Central data through Microsoft Teams
For employees in your organization that only need to occasionally view data in Business Central, did you know that they access Business Central data and information through Microsoft Teams?
If your organization has both a Dynamics 365 Business Central and a Microsoft 365 subscription, you can configure your system to give employees access to the information they need. Employees with a Microsoft 365 license but no Business Central license can view Business Central records that are shared in the Microsoft Teams chat and channels.
How does this benefit your business?
- Unlock master data that every employee should have access to.
- Employees can read and review data but cannot modify, create or delete records.
- Employees can access a reduced set of features and functions provided by Business Central in Microsoft Teams. No Business Central license is required.
- Empower departments and areas that don’t run on Business Central to self-serve and access the data they need to perform their tasks.
- Increased collaboration and efficiency.
- Improved data security by reducing the need for pasting snippets of critical business information outside of your system.
