Price changes for Microsoft Dynamics effective October 2024

Microsoft has announced pricing changes to its Microsoft Dynamics Service Plans. The price changes will be effective October 1 to 3, 2024.

Here’s what you need to know.

Dynamics On-Premises Service plans

  • Enhancement Plan (EP) and Advantage Plan (AP) rates will increase by 1 percentage point for all renewals and new sales. For example, the rate for a one-year Enhancement Plan would go from 18% to 19% of the Protected List Price.
  • Customers who order a two-year or three-year plan (annual or upfront) retain their original percentage rate for the full term of the plan. The rate is determined by the date on which the Enhancement Plan quote is created, not when the order is submitted.

Dynamics On-Premises base prices

  • To reduce the disparity in the price of Dynamics on-premises subscriptions licensed through DPL with Dynamics online subscriptions, Microsoft has been adjusting on-premises subscription pricing for Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics NAV, and Dynamics GP to better align with Dynamics 365 Business Central online CSP pricing.
  • Dynamics GP Subscription Standard User increases by 10%.
  • Dynamics 365 for Operations product line with key SKUs increasing from the current 16% to 18%.
  • On-Azure discounts will be reduced from 10% to 5%. This discount and change are only applicable to pre-existing Dynamics GP subscriptions, Dynamics NAV subscriptions, and Business Central on-premises customers.
  • Changes in base prices of other DPL perpetual product lines are not planned. Local prices may vary due to changes in the conversion factors used to convert base prices.

Dynamics cloud-hosted subscription pricing

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM product pricing will increase approximately 10%.
  • Pricing for some online, cloud products such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central will remain unchanged.
  • Price increases for on-premises will increase by the same percentage as a respective cloud version.
